Duo Jiayi–April
A violin–piano partnership since 2019.
Formed in Shanghai in 2019 and now based in Vienna, Duo Jiayi–April explores violin–piano repertoire from Schubert and Brahms to Szymanowski and Enescu. In 2026, the duo received four prizes, including first prizes at the International Stasys Vainiūnas Piano Ensembles Competition and the isa Exilarte Award.

Her practice is shaped by perceptive listening and sustained artistic dialogue, while an evolving engagement with repertoire research, rediscovery, and work across languages continues to broaden her musical perspective.
